Hand to God by Robert Askins

Fordham University Studio
Hand to God Preshow

When Jason, a member of a fundamentalist Christian congregation that uses puppets to teach stories of the Bible, loses his father, his puppet takes on a mind of its own and showcases the anger and sin that Jason has been keeping inside.

The play is vulgar, aggressive, and explores religious trauma and sexual relationships.
